My love for refinishing furniture started when we moved into our home two years ago. The house had an array of paint colors and needed several updates. I made it my job to take this house and make it our homem on a budget, because I LOVE a great deal!
The first step was paint! Due to the whole house needing a fresh paint job and the vaulted ceilings, we hired this out. After giving ourselves a blank canvas, I accessed the necessary changes needed.
We started by removing the linoleum and tiled in the master bathroom, guest bathroom and laundry room (thanks to my dad and husband).

Instead of replacing the shower doors, I used the old gold frame and changed it to bronze.

Stained an old dresser, removed some drawers and created a piece of furniture for the living room.
Refinished an armoire and turned it into our daughter's closet

Built this frame and stained it for our bedroom
Created the curtain frame out of wood and added knobs
I removed the doors from the nightstand, painted, and sanded for a shabby chic look.
My grandma gave me one of her old lamps that use to be pink. I painted it and found a shade to bring it up to date.
With each project I complete, there is SO much I learn and become more excited to start something new!
Here are a couple end tables I have recently refinished and sold.
